Sheffield, Alabama – Recently Champy’s Fried Chicken hosted an after hours event for members of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce.
Champy’s is a bit of a newcomer to the Shoals Restaurant scene and has made an immediate impact in the way fried chicken is perceived. No longer do you have to wait in line at a fast food chain store to get your fried chicken fix. Now you can walk into a shabby chic style chicken joint and set down at a table and order up a mouth watering helping of the best fried chicken you could ever want. Something like a chicken place down in the Mississippi Delta… And that’s the message that Wade Baker, the owner of Champy’s wanted to impart to his fellow Chamber Members when he decided to host the after hours event.
A large crowd of Chamber members descended upon Champy’s to sample the scrumptious chicken that Wade was serving up buffet style for this invitation only event. Everyone in attendance agreed that Champy’s was the champion of fried chicken in the Shoals and would encourage their friends to come check it out.
Recently we did a review of Champy’s so check that out also “Blues, Brews and Birds”.
